Hiking
The path across the plateau is no longer steep, but leads partly over soft ground and partly over boulder terrain. Easily manageable if you're used to it; otherwise, it becomes strenuous but not dangerous. GPS and/or a sense of direction are necessary here, as the piles of stones don't necessarily follow the direct route to Esja.
