There are two paths on the Pfaffenstein once quite leisurely over many stairs and steps ... and once very steeply through the bottleneck so I would always choose the descent through the bottleneck
But on the Pfaffenstein you have a nice restaurant with delicious local dishes and organic food ... also you can see from Pfaffenstein one of the landmarks of Saxon Switzerland very well the "Baberine"

The route through the bottleneck is challenging, as there are really a lot of steps to overcome. But the effort is worth it! This is a great adventure and you will be rewarded with a great view! Or with an ice cream. That's really delicious in the beer cards on the Pfaffenstein. Yummy!
