From Preiner Gscheid (1070 m) turn left towards Reissthaler Hütte (not managed). The path leads comfortably uphill through a shady coniferous forest.
At about 1500 meters above sea level, you can leave the larch forest behind you and reach the mountain pine trees, which cover and stabilize the scree slopes.
Through the Raxmäuer, who optically stand in the way, it is then later through a small gorge. Steep uphill, sometimes you have to use your hands to help, but the place is well secured with a steel cable.
