Mountain biking
It is a pyroclastic cone developed in a Strombolian eruption in which two craters are intuited, greatly modified by anthropogenic action and human occupation of this volcano since very remote times.
One of the most interesting elements is the picón quarry (lapilli-type pyroclasts and “caramelized” quartzite enclaves). At the top, lava and scoriaceous outcrops (spatter) stand out, generating a castle-like morphology.
The volcano emitted a lava flow (olivinic melillithites) to the south on which most of the urban nucleus is based.
