Photos taken during the summer drought of 2022. Water very low at the time but can imagine the water getting a lot higher up the stones in wetter times. They are very close together and easy to get across.

The stones are modern concrete blocks. Easy to cross in dry conditions.

I went today 8th Jan 2025. I hadn't realised the footbridge was private (you can't get to it as the land next to it is private and has a locked gate) and the water was pretty fast flowing and over the stones by about a couple of inches towards the middle of the river so I decided to go back to Bothal Mill road bridge.
