Helensburgh Pier extends 804 feet (245 m) from the coast and affords lovely views over the Upper Firth of Clyde and the town itself. The pier, which was built in 1816, has been designated a Grade C-listed building by Historic Environment Scotland.

Hiking

Due to restructuring and pulling down the old swimming pool the pier is closed right now. It is still nice to see the seafront and the nearby civic centre has a pleasant viewing area behind the building.
