The church was first mentioned in a document in 1284. It is the first church in the Schwerin area to be built in the classical style. You can enter the church through the portals on the north and south walls. The interior is light and covered with a painted coffered ceiling. The organ dates from the beginning of the 20th century and is the work of Marcus Runge.
