Dronninglund Castle

Dronninglund Castle was originally a nunnery founded by the Benedictines around the year 1100 as Hundlund Monastery, as they called it at the time. Over time, the monastery was highly respected, wealthy and owned over 100 farms, which were assigned by Queen Margrethe I. During the Reformation, Hundslund Monastery belonged to the Crown and was then passed on to several well-known men.Today Dronninglund Castle is a beautiful and modern hotel and course center which also has its own restaurant overlooking the castle park.
