Point of Ayr is the most northerly point of mainland Wales. It's the end of the Dee estuary and the southern point of Liverpool Bay in the Irish Sea.
Once a coal and gas mining area it's now a SSSI, nature reserve and important bird nesting site.
The lighthouse requires a walk across the beach but is worth the trek. It was built in 1776 but replaced with a lightship in 1883.
the views are amazing out to sea and across the Dee to West Kirby.
The holiday park has a café where you can get ice cream, drinks and snacks.
