The chapel was founded in 1510 and dedicated to Saints Anne and John the Baptist. According to tradition, it was burned by Croatian soldiers in 1635. It was rebuilt in 1833 under Pastor Mathias Watrin. The door knocker, probably from a house, is dated 1817.

The Saint Anne's Chapel is a walk-in chapel in the Dutch village of Blitterswijck (Beeteweg 1).
The chapel was founded in 1510 and rebuilt in 1638 after a fire. In 1833 the chapel was rebuilt and this is the current building.
It is a rectangular brick building with a choir closed on three sides. On the slate roof is a turret with a clock from 1470.
