A very nice campsite, right on the Dordogne and opposite Limeuil. You can't get enough of the view. And it's a stone's throw by bike (and even on foot) to the small, romantic town of Limeuil, which is stuck like a bird's nest in the Dordogne cliffs. It is best to walk up the steep little alley into town. There are some good restaurants along the way and at the top of the castle there is a beautiful park with many surprises for children (participatory information) and from where you have a wonderful view of the confluence of the Vezere and Dordogne and the two bridges arranged at right angles. Now in the pre-season in June there is not so much going on.

From the campsite you have a beautiful view of Limeuil on the opposite bank of the Dordogne. The site is a convenient starting point for exploring the surrounding area.
