The Ruppertsklamm near Lahnstein is a short, alpine hiking experience between the Westerwald and Taunus. The gorge, which is only 1.5 kilometers long, has a height difference of 235 metres. Between high rocks you have to shimmy along the ropes attached for safety several times. When the weather is dry, it is also great fun for children and the whole family, and not too dangerous.
