This tour was planned with KOMOOT and made three times in June 2022 - each with a slightly different route. From Bad Radkersburg we first went over the Mur Bridge to Slovenia. On the southern side of the Mura, in Gornja Radgona, it is advisable to take the road leading to Radenci via Šratovci, because there is a cycle path next to the road. But be careful, the cycle path is riddled with dangerously lowered curbs at the entrances and exits. Drive very slowly here! The slightly shorter stretch of road No. 714 from Gornja Radgona to Orehovski runs on a busy road without a bike path and is not recommended. As the name I chose for the tour >Weinbergrunde< already says, it goes up and down steeply several times (see elevation profile). My fellow passengers (all on pedelecs) and I have already passed 70, but we would all do this tour again. At the end of the holiday I pedaled the tour with my e-bike (correct: pedelec) again unaccompanied, just to take photos.
