Beautiful, if slightly overrun, historic fishing port and now a chi-chi resort full of second homes. Still very appealing though, with lovely historic streets and buildings, not to mention the Adnams Brewery.

For some reason the general public that typically visit Southwold in the summer seem to be under the misapprehension that they have the right of way everywhere which includes walking towards you on the road your cycling along. Be aware they probably not
