Brilon has a beautiful old town that is worth a short trip. The town hall from 1250 with its baroque front is one of the oldest administrative buildings in Germany. The old market square, which forms the center of the town, is directly in front of it. It is surrounded by other beautifully restored half-timbered houses, creating a wonderful flair.
This is also where the Möhnetal cycle path begins, which meanders past Warstein and of course the Möhnesee. The cycle path can be changed with two variations. On the one hand with the north bank variant above the Möhnesee and on the other hand with the panorama route through Ense.
