Located in the heart of the Choisille valley, there is something romantic about Le Moulin de Charcenay: the owners have lined the river with basins of flowers,

while water runs down two sides of the property well hidden behind trees.

An incentive panel invites you to visit the hydraulic ram of the mill, a vestige of the local industry of the 19th century.

The hydraulic ram of Charcenay allowed thanks to the energy of a waterfall, to raise a lesser quantity of water towards a point located higher than the source,

and this in a perpetual motion; it supplied water to the Château de la Plaine, property of a wealthy banker from Tours.
