    Twisty road descent from the south. You could probably ride down most of the way from the north on 32mm tyres but you’d be worried about your wheels. 40mm sensible minimum. Heading back up to the north from the bridge really wants a mountain bike and big lungs, but as long as you aren’t wearing road shoes you can hike a bike for about 15 minutes up through the forest before picking up some tarmac.
