This gravel part allows you to reach the suburbs of San Martín, by another less traveled road. It is, however, much more difficult, as some sections have slightly larger gravel than usual.
However, it will be quieter and allow you to see wildlife. Do not take it in the middle of the day because part of it is not wooded and the southern sun can be violent.
