On both sides of the creek dirt tracks lead down the hill along the creek from the gravel county road 42 down to the smaller gravel Patterson Sawmill Road. It continues to the Southwest and eventually connects with Hwy 395, while lesser dirt tracks run east to CR 447 in Nevada.
