The Sauabrehytta is one of the four unmanned DNT (Den Norske Turistforening) huts in the Folgefonna National Park and is located at around 1,080 meters in the high mountains, far from marked summer trails, amidst a glacier landscape that is second to none. The hut offers shelter and a base for experiencing the glaciers of Folgefonna up close. Norway's third-largest glacier massif practically begins right outside the door.
