Mađerkin Breg Viewpoint

Typical for the landscape are the vineyards. In August it is harvest time and here the grapes are still picked by hand. Due to the clay soil and the southern climate the quality of the grapes is usually excellent, often white wine is produced here.

At 341 meters above sea level, only three and a half meters lower than the highest point of Međimurje Mohokos in the town of Robadje, there is Magjerkin breg, which offers one of the most beautiful views in continental Croatia.Where the earth fell in love with the sky and heals it with its peaks, and it reciprocates with the best it has, the new Cycling and Information Center with a lookout point is located.Thanks to the CycleSeeing Attractour - CSA project, worth 1,463,966.46 euros, Međimurje has received a new tourist content that will greatly enrich the offer not only of the Municipality of Štrigova, but of the entire Međimurje County and northwestern Croatia. The lookout point on Mađerkina breg was opened with a big ceremony on the occasion of Štrigova Municipality Day on July 22, 2022.
