Liepāja University (Latvian: Liepājas Universitāte) is one of six state universities in Latvia, located in the city of Liepāja (Libau).
History
The university was founded in 1954 as a Pedagogical College, renamed Liepāja Pedagogical Academy in 1993, and recognized as a university in 2008.
