The circular route around the Weidatal dam completely runs through a nature reserve. The route is demanding and requires, due to the numerous height differences, good condition. The hiker is compensated by diverse natural impressions, beautiful views, proximity to water and lush vegetation. Except for the local situation Piesigitz the path runs consistently in a forest belt. Highlights are the views of the cascades and the dam, the view from the Grobisch, the quarry area and the carp meadow.
