If the approach to Mont Charvin via the south side (until July through snow) and the secured T5 area is not possible, you can get up via the T2 path behind the "Tete de l'Aulp" and via the T2 path to Monte Charvin! Beware, I could not find the route over the "Tete de l'Aulp" / "La Rouelle" peaks. Save your strength and go straight through the valley and then back on the T2 way up to Mont Charvin.
