The bridge here at Lynmouth crosses the East Lyn River, one of the two rivers (the other being the West Lyn) which have created the spectacular valley that Lynmouth sits in.

Lynmouth is a peaceful village and harbour, with a Victorian water powered railway that connects it to Lynton, 150m above.

There are cafes, pubs and public toilets beside the river to the south east of this bridge.
