Alpine skiing

The lookout tower on Hnědy vrch is located right next to the upper station of the cable car from Pec pod Sněžkou. Thanks to its location, it offers a beautiful view of the main ridge of the Krkonoše Mountains - including Luční hora, Studniční hora, Sněžka, Růžové hora and more distant peaks such as Javor or Pěnkavčí vrch.

Alpine skiing

The highest observation tower in the Giant Mountains is 31 meters high and is located at the upper station of the Pec pod Sněžkou – Hnědý vrch cable car. The observation tower has a triangular shape due to the fluctuations caused by the wind, it is built of wooden and steel columns, inside there is a spiral steel staircase with 138 steps. The observation tower has been standing here since 2009 and its base is located at an altitude of 1207.45 m.
