Hiking
The natural monument is located in the Hüttenbachschlucht near Haimendorf. The waterfall has a drop of about 5 meters. Hüttenbach, a stream flowing over sandstone steps, a tributary of the Pegnitz, here forms an icicle curtain in winter, behind which the gurgling water of the brook and the wind create manifold sequences of sounds. The sound of these sounds is what makes the Sounding Waterfall its name. (Source Wikipedia)
