    Cycling

    This is the Bowness Nab ferry terminal on the east side of Windermere. The ferry takes bikes and the crossing is around 10 minutes.

    An update to 51m's post - cyclists now pay £2.15 to cross.

    Those seeking a long ferry trip are advised to take one of the length-wise cruises; this width-wise ferry is basically a utilitarian (though still picturesque) crossing - takes a little under 5 minutes to complete once started.

    Bowness to Sawrey ferry.
    Cyclist are £2 per crossing including bike (July 2022).
    Ferry has a different timetable for summer and winter which on the last Sunday in March and the last Saturday in October.
    First summer ferry departs Bowness at 6:50 and last ferry departs Sawrey at 22:00. First ferry on Sundays is 8:50.
    Winter ferry times are the same but the last ferry is 21:00.
