With its 1.6 kilometers, the Westerholter Bach is rather short. It arises north of Stukenbrock from several springs in the area of the Oerlinghauser Senne in an NSG. After just a few hundred meters, the stream was dammed for fish farming (until 2021). After the fish ponds, the Westerholter Bach continues on its way through the Stukenbrocker settlement area and finally flows into the Ölbach.

A double pond at Westerholterbach. There's a way in the middle. You think you are standing in the water. The trail is always passable, but a bit sandy.
