St. Magdalena Chapel, Hall in Tirol
The Magdalene Chapel is located to the east of the parish church of St. Nicholas. The two-storey building was first mentioned in documents in 1330. The basement of the square building is the former lower chapel dedicated to St. James, which was deconsecrated in 1831 and is now used as a business premises. The upper floor is the Magdalene Chapel, which has served as a memorial to the fallen soldiers of the city of Hall since 1923. In 1923/24 it was restored with funds from the Messerschmitt Foundation.
Two portals lead into the chapel room, which has a Gothic vault with cross ribs. On the east wall there are frescoes from the beginning of the 15th century: Mary flanked by four saints, and the procession of the Three Kings. On the south wall there is a wall painting with an impressive depiction of the Last Judgement (1466). Next to it is a painting showing the Adoration of the Lamb (1610): Mary and the gathering of the saints before the lamb, which symbolizes Christ.

The Magdalene Chapel is located east of the parish church of St. Nicholas. The two-storey building was first mentioned in a document in 1330. The basement of the square building is formed by the former St. The lower chapel dedicated to James, which was profaned in 1831 and is now used as a shop. The upper floor is made up of the Magdalene Chapel, which has served as a memorial to the fallen of the city of Hall since 1923. In 1923/24 it was restored with funds from the Messerschmitt Foundation.

Two portals lead into the chapel room, which has a Gothic vault with cross ribs. On the east wall there are frescoes from the beginning of the 15th century: Mary flanked by four saints and procession of the three kings. On the south wall is a mural with an impressive depiction of the Last Judgment (1466). Next to it is a painting showing the Adoration of the Lamb (1610): Mary and the Assembly of the Saints before the Lamb, symbolizing Christ.

The late Gothic winged altar from the second half of the 15th century comes from St. Magdalena in Halltal. The central figure of Mary is accompanied by St. Margaretha and Catherine flanked. The side wings show scenes from the life of Mary: Annunciation, Adoration of the Magi, Visitation and the death of Mary. In the predella shrine there is a plastic representation of the birth of Christ, on the predella wings are St. Barbara and Agnes depicted.
