    Hiking

The Federigo Zullo bivouac is located on Col Carrel and was inaugurated in 1984. In 1878 the Aosta section of the Alpine Club had a small refuge built on the top of Becca, calling it "le Pavillon Budden", which soon fell into ruin and, twenty years later, abandoned.

Simple and spartan bivouac located on Colle Carrel at 2907m of altitude, between Becca di Nona and Monte Emilius: just behind the bivouac there is the start of the via ferrata that runs entirely along the Emilius crest

    Is Bivacco Federigo Zullo dog-friendly?

While dogs are generally permitted on trails in the Aosta Valley, the challenging nature of the terrain to Bivacco Federigo Zullo, including steep, rocky sections and high altitudes, means it might not be suitable for all dogs.
