Voted one of the most beautiful villages in France, a tour of the charming medieval town is a must during a holiday in Burgundy.
Stroll through medieval cobblestone streets past the magnificent half-timbered houses, which often have wood carvings or their original arcades and are decorated with flowers. One finds peace below the defensive walls, which are equipped with many defensive towers, right on the banks of the Serein.
It is advisable to receive a flyer at the tourist information office at the entrance to the town, which explains 16 interesting and worth seeing stations on a circular route.
