Gustav Geipel Memorial
This memorial in honor of Gustav Geipel, the great patron and promoter of the city of Asch, was unveiled on 14.7.1924 on the Ringstraße am Hasenlager. It was a work of Prof. Johannes Watzal, who later also created the Goethe Memorial. Although this monument is still standing, the plate with the relief of Gustav Geipel and the inscription removed the Czechs.
