Very exciting tour (big thanks to our guide Matteo - free!) through the arboretum. There are actually seven parts, which were created at different times - designed very differently (from park-like to forest-like). Matteo shared many interesting and amazing details about the different trees that were brought to the arboretum from all over the world.
In addition to the giant trees from America, we liked the wandering cedar, the taxishina (chemotherapy for breast cancer), the catface (funny leaf shape), the yew (bowwood from Robin Hood - everything is poisonous).
