This park is owned and maintained by the nearby City of Osage. It is situated right on the banks of the Cedar River and is used for picnicking and camping as well as hiking, biking and recreational access to the river. It was originally owned and developed by a private association of Osage citizens. It's first season of csmping was the summer of 1894.
