We came from the non-stairs direction climbing up the river, so it was an awesome surprise to find the falls up there. Then we realized that it was an attraction point which you can enter easily by using the stone stairs.
Still not crowded and really nice. You can climb the rocks to take pictures or refresh in the water (but be aware, there are some small leeches..).
