Pena Palace can be visited in winter, offering a unique, often less crowded experience. While the vibrant colors of the palace might contrast beautifully with a misty backdrop, fog can sometimes obscure the panoramic views. Crowds are generally significantly smaller than in spring, summer, or early autumn, making it a more peaceful time to explore the palace interiors and park, though some park facilities might have reduced hours.
