Teesmouth Nature Reserve shows how nature and urbanisation can thrive in harmony. Backdropped by factories and heavy industry, Teesmouth Nature Reserve consists of sand dunes, grazing marsh and mudflats which are home to a variety of wildlife.

The area is especially nice in summer when the wildflowers are in full bloom and a colony of harbour seals give birth to their pups on the sands.
