Best Hikes to Lower Joffre Lake

Tips

  • Lower Joffre Lake is – as you might imagine – the lowest of the three Joffre Lakes and also the smallest. It is crystal clear and if you are in for a dip, this is definitely warmer than the much higher lakes that might be covered with ice and snow. It is a five-minute walk from the parking lot. If you have time and the stamina, be sure to walk further and visit the higher turquoise lakes as well.
