The Mühlenbauhof in Frille is unique in Germany. It was set up in 1988 by the Minden-Lübbecke district in the former Koch farm, Schwarzer Weg 2. Historic mills are professionally restored, serviced and repaired here. The Minden-Lübbecke Mill Association, which has initiated and coordinated the maintenance, restoration and maintenance of 44 mills in the district since 1973, and the German Mill Society are also based here.
