Since no land consolidation was carried out in Ottenbüttel, an extensive broken landscape of more than 40 km in length has been preserved. This invites you to extensive bike tours and other sports on a well-developed network of paths.
The attraction for many families and schools is the self-made adventure playground and the nature trail on the edge of the Halloh. Here you can get information about agriculture and the local wildlife. The tree of the year has been planted here every year since 1989.
