Kainzbachtal
The Kainzbachtal near Tännesberg is a typical low mountain range valley in the Upper Upper Palatinate Forest. The stream rises in the blocky slopes of the Tännesberg forest and flows into the Pfreimd after about 6 km. In the remote forests on the upper reaches, you will come across old pond dams again and again. Carp, tench and trout used to be bred here. Between the ponds stretched meadows that were used extensively. Species-rich wet meadows, fen areas and litter meadows were created.
