St. Blasius is a Roman Catholic parish church built under Abbot Beda Werner between 1719 and 1725 in Bellamont, a suburb of Steinhausen an der Rottum. It is located in the pastoral unit of St. Benedict in Ochsenhausen in the district of Biberach in Upper Swabia. In the simple and inconspicuous village church, which is off the beaten track, there are works from the Memmingen workshop of Ivo Strigel and the Ulm sculptor Nikolaus Weckmann. The painting of the church is the work of Johann Georg Bergmüller, later director of the Augsburg Imperial Municipal Academy.Source: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Blasius_(Bellamont)p.s.
