The Limes refers to the border walls that were once created by the Roman Empire. From the 1st to the 6th century they secured the borders in Europe, the Near East and North Africa. And the Limes also ran over the Deusterberg. Today you will find a replica of the palisades, information boards and a nice rest area with a view.
