This beautiful, 29-acre lake is one of the most popular destinations in the Mount Zirkel Wilderness and is part of the famous "Zirkel Circle," a loop that also includes Gold Creek Lake. The trail itself is heavily forested for much of its length and, although you may not get much solitude here, the beauty is worth braving some crowds for.
