The Lizard is the most southerly point of Great Britain. There is a lighthouse atop Lizard Point, highlighting the dangerous nature of this stretch of sea.

Unlike so many places to visit, the Lizard is a destination. The road goes nowhere except out to sea. This means it can also be much quieter than other areas of Cornwall, yet its coastline is just as rugged and beautiful.

The sea views are perfect. You will see Chuffs (birds) around the point. Not sure what the amusements are (mentioned above), but at the right time of year the cafe is great at the point itself and the cafes was you entre Lizard Village from the south are also friendly and good value. Well worth the ride.
