When you're climbing Ajusco from Xalatlaco, you reach this ramp, and you know you're close to ending the suffering of the climb. :D In addition to being a beautiful place, thanks to the forest and the plains before this final climb, you'll find encouraging signs and the distance remaining to reach the plaque marking the division between the State of Mexico and Mexico City. This is where the descent toward the Ajusco Circuit's Canteen Valley begins. Although you already know it's going to end, sometimes the last stretch seems endless. Don't forget to enjoy that moment and that place, smile. Enjoy it!
And if you're going down, don't forget to turn right, where you'll see Nevado de Toluca in the distance. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see it, as seen in the photo, covered in snow.
