Rodberg Castle refers to a former sanatorium in Bad Berka. The original building was built in 1885.

From 1974 onwards, the house was a dormitory for students from the medical school and employees of the central clinic. After the technical school closed in 1992, the building initially stood empty. In 1996 it was sold to private hands and rented out. After Rodberg Castle was placed under monument protection in 1999, the last tenants moved out in 2000.

Deterioration and vandalism led to a fire in April 2015. Shortly afterwards there were supposed to be sales negotiations between the owner and a citizens' initiative.

The building was last used as a nursing home, before that it was Gutenberg Castle. It was built in 1911 as Gutenberg Castle.
Rodberg Castle was built in 1885 on the Harth, a little further south, and demolished in 1929.

Schloss Rodberg is the name of a former sanatorium in Bad Berka. It is located on Tannrodaer Strasse in a wooded area on the Ilm. The original building was built on the Harth in 1885. After its demolition in 1929, the name was transferred to the current building, which was built in 1911 as Schloss Gutenberg. The sanatorium has been empty and falling into disrepair since 2000.
