Hiking Highlight
As already seen at the waterfalls along the route, the water is very blue. We were lucky enough to find an ocher inflow at this point, which made the impressive play of colors perfect.
The waterfall is reminiscent of the Skaftafell National Park by the framing of basalt columns.
The bed of the river is here in wonderful gray stones that frame the river. The waterfall has a great power and is probably the widest and most powerful compared to the others in the area.
View Above the waterfall on the basalt columns and the blue water. About the trail you get very close to the cliff, especially in wet weather here is caution.
