In 2009, to mark the 200th anniversary of the Fool's Mill, a bronze sculpture was erected on the square in front of the Fool's Mill. Bronze masks from different cultures and standing on a 1.50 meter high basalt lava column now smile at every visitor. The sculpture is intended to remind people that Dülken is a Rhenish stronghold of fools.
